How we check reviews
Verified booking reviews
Verified booking reviews are written by guests who booked a tour through Tourfect. We send one review invitation after the tour date, and we don't edit the text or the star rating. Only these reviews count towards a tour's Tourfect rating.
Source-checked reviews
Source-checked reviews were first published on another platform, such as Google, Tripadvisor or Viator. A member of the Tourfect team has located the original, confirmed it is live, and recorded the date of that check. We show a short excerpt with a link to the original, and we show the operator's overall rating and review count on that platform so the excerpts are seen in context. These reviews do not count towards the Tourfect rating.
Testimonials
Testimonials are added by the operator and have not been checked by Tourfect. They only appear on the operator's own website, not in the Tourfect marketplace.
Our rules
We never pay for reviews, allow operators to remove negative verified reviews, or publish reviews we know to be false. If you think a review breaks these rules, email reviews@tourfect.ie.
