Add your insurance and licences

Tourfect keeps three documents on file for your business: your insurance certificate, a tour guide licence and a driving licence. They’re private. Only the people who manage your business and Tourfect staff can see them, and they never appear on your site.

Before you start

Have each document ready as a PDF, JPEG or PNG file, up to 10 MB. A photo of a paper certificate works, as long as it’s clear.

Add a document

1. In your dashboard, click Documents.
2. Find the document you want to add: Insurance, Tour guide licence or Driver licence.
3. Click Choose file and pick the file.
4. Click Upload.

The document now shows On file, with the date you added it.

Replace or remove a document

• To replace a document, for example when your insurance renews, choose the new file under Replace the file and click Replace. The old file is deleted.
• To remove a document, click Remove, then confirm.

To check what’s on file, click Download next to a document.

Who can see them

Only the people who sign in to your dashboard, and Tourfect staff checking your business. Travellers never see them, and there’s no public link to them.
