Prices per person or per group

Each tour has one way of charging: per person, or one price for the whole group. You can also charge differently as groups get bigger.

Per person or per group

• Per person: each traveller pays the price, so a group of four pays four times the price. This suits shared walks and day trips.
• Per group: one price for the whole party, however many come, up to your max group size. This suits private tours.

Set the price

1. In your dashboard, click Tours, then the tour’s name, then Edit tour. For a new tour, click New tour.
2. Under How you charge, click Per person or Per group.
3. Type the Price in euro. For a free tour, type 0.
4. Type the Max group size: the most people you take on one tour.
5. Click Save changes, or Create tour for a new tour.

Travellers can’t ask for more people than your max group size, and your tour page shows “Up to” that number of people.

Different prices for bigger groups

The Price is for the smallest groups. If your price changes as groups get bigger, add a row for each group size where it changes.

1. In the tour form, click Different prices for bigger groups.
2. Click Add a price for bigger groups.
3. In From (people), type the group size where the new price starts, like 5.
4. Type the Price for groups of that size or bigger.
5. Add more rows the same way, up to 5. To take a row out, click the cross next to it.
6. Click Save changes.

For example, a private tour at €600 per group, with rows from 5 people at €650 and from 8 people at €660, and a max group size of 8:

Per person works the same way. At €55 per person with a row from 6 people at €45, a group of six pays €45 each.

Each row needs a group size of 2 or more, and a price. Two rows can’t have the same group size, and no row can start above your max group size.

How travellers see your price

• Tour cards show the lowest price anyone pays.
• On the tour’s page, the booking box shows the price per person or per group. A price per group adds “One price for your whole group.”
• Prices for bigger groups are listed by group size in the booking box.
• As travellers choose their group size, the booking form shows their total, like “Total for 4 people: €220”.
• A price of 0 shows as “Free”.

Each booking request keeps the total the traveller saw when they sent it. If you change your prices later, requests you already have don’t change.
